Judge orders psychiatric exam for mother accused of killingGEORGETOWN (AP) — A judge has ordered a psychiatric evaluation of a woman accused of killing her two toddlers to see if she was insane at the time of the killings and whether she is now fit to stand trial.Tina Marie Cornelius has been charged with capital murder in the deaths of Amanda Lee Miller, 3, and Dominick Logan Cornelius, 2, whose bodies were discovered in a creek in June. She faces life in prison or the death penalty if convicted.Cornelius, 23, has reported seeing and hearing her dead children in the Williamson County Jail.State District Judge Burt Carnes on Tuesday ordered Dr. Richard Coons, an Austin psychiatrist and lawyer requested by prosecutors, to perform the evaluation and submit his report within 30 days.Prosecutors requested the examination.
