Three face sentencing on burglary, forgery chargesSentencings bee. 20 are set for three men convicted on charges ranging from burglary to forgery.Dale Brunner, 22, presently jailed in lieu of bond, pleaded guilty to two counts of forgery. Asst. Dist. Atty. Robert Vander Loop also read into the record an additional countthat will be used in sentencing by Circuit Court Branch 1 Judge William E. Crane.Brunner, charged with several other men, wrote out three checks on the account of Russell Doemel Excavating Co., 108 Allen Ave., in mid-September. The checks, cashed at two Oshkosh banks, to-staled $206.They were three of 33 taken from Doemel in a late summer burglary. Also allegedlyinvolved in the schem: were Wayne Brunner, brother of Dale, and Linda Hobbs, 23, of 2207 Jefferson St.Ms. Hobbs pleaded innocent to similar charges late Mon-IIday morning before Crane Her case was adjourned for a January jury trial. Ms. Hobbs was released on a signature bond after her court appearance.Also scheduled for a Dec. 20 sentencing is James Schmie-del, 18, of 3821 Ripon Road, who pleaded guilty to bur-I Iglary. He was apprehended by authorities in connection with a Msy breakin at the Green Meadow School. He was also charged with driving a car without the owner’s consent, but that case was dropped. The car belonged tb Reynold P. Olson, 6720 Clairville Road. It was apparently taken from a parking area at the Town of Utica volunteer fireman’s picnic Aug. 25.Bert Farry, 19, of 822 Otter \ Ave., also was convicted by | Crane. He pleaded no contest to burglarizing the First Assembly of God Church, 1325 Elmwood Ave., and the Temple B'Nai Israel, 112! Al-goma Blvd., in May.Crane adjourned all sentenc-ings until presentence reports could be filed by the Wisconsin State Department of Health and Social Services.
