DETROIT (AP) - Nine wom en who fled from the Detroit House of Corrections in two separate escapes Thanksgiving might have been recaptured. Police said the last of the es capees was recaptured early to day within seven hours after her flight. Seven of the prisoners over powered three matrons before they ran away from the min imum-security institution. The other escapees apparently just slipped away, according to pris on officials. The seven participating in the mass escape all were awaiting trial, but the other two were convicted felons. One of them, Eula G. Unsworth, 27, of Ro mulus, was serving a life term for murder. The second, Mar garet McCann, 26, of Detroit, was serving four to 15 years for armed robbery. Both convicted women were captured in Washtenaw County early today by sheriff's depu ties. Kathy Engle, 2, of Detroit, who took part in the escape of six inmates last weekend, was one of the last fugitives cap tured today. She and Wanda Ray, 25, of Detroit, also were arrested in Washtenaw County. The three matrons who were overpowered suffered minor in juries. They were treated and released.
