It£ Burglars Get $,400 in CashBurglars look a small box containing $2/100 in cash and a Sod wrist watch Friday morning from the homo of a West San Antonio grocery store owner.Mrs. Tiilic Castaneda reported to police the thieves look the box from a hallway closet of her home at 1830 Valencia SI. Sometime Mween 8 and 11 a.m.Patrolman L. R. Halliburton said the hurglars entered through an unlocked side door.A station wagon was seen driving up and down the 1800 block of Valencia Friday morning, police reporlcd.Mrs. Castaneda’s husband, Armando Castaneda, owns the AA and Sons Grocery and Alarkel, llfla Ferndnle Avo. Richard Castaneda, a son of the store owner, said §1,600 nf the amount taken was from receipts ;djnf money orders .sold at Hie 'store.The burglars left after finding the money, for nothing else was missing from the residence, police said.
