Shannon Enters Plea of GuiltyVirgil Shannon pleaded guilty as charged to burglary in the second degree in district court proceedings Tuesday. On recommendation of County Attorney Barney Ward, Judge John Boyce McKeel sentenced Shannon to serve 2Vi years in the state penitentiary at McAlest-er. sentence to begin upon his delivery at the state prison.Shannon admitted the burglary of the 1952 Mullinix grocery store. He was picked up here several days ago when he returned from California.
