Police Smash Coffee RingFRANKFURT, Nov. 25 lt;SS)~ More than 13,000 pounds of smuggled green coffee was seized here as Frankfurt police today announced the smashing of a giant black-market ring.Officials believe it will put a crimp in the plans of the black-market boys who were counting on their usual phristmas “boom.”The raid was made in Frankfurt’s giant Market Hall, reputedly the largest indoor market in Europe.Merchant ArrestedIn connection with the raid, police announced the arrest of Arnold Keller, 32, a merchant.
