However, archers must own an antlerless deer license for the specific county to be hunted in, to hunt “does” during the December 14-15 antlerless season, whether on one of these preserves or in any county in Pennsylvania., A Legislative Act passed this summer reads: “Any individual may possess, transport, carry or convey an unmarked part of a big game carcass that has been cut up, but such person shall, upon request of any law enforcement officer, furnish the name and address of the person killing the big game animal and any other information required to properly establish legal possession in such person.”Though there are three separate seasons for taking deer in Pennsylvania in 1951, a hunter may kill but one deer this year.Reports of big game kiils must be mailed to the Game Commission within 5 days after the close of the sc a son in which such animal was killed.Deer must ho tagged immediately after the entrails have been removed, but in any event within one hour after killing, and before the* carcass is transported in any manner from where it was killed.Should a hunter kill the “wrong kind” of deer in mistake, he should deliver the carcass to the nearest game protector within 24 hours, make a report and pay only 25rlt; of the usual penalty. Hunting licenses arc* not revoked for this sporting act.The only way it is lawful to hunt for or to kill deer in this state is through the use of a gun shooting one all-lead, lead alloy, or expanding bullet or ball at a single discharge or through the use of a bow and arrow.
