Proceeds from the project will be distributed to the Children's Aid Society of West-j ern Manitoba, to the Canadian Lesion Welfare Fund and U thecharges of theft of fur coats from a local hotel earlier this month.The six furs are \alued at S2.-400. The trio were remanded at the request of the { rown to Monday. after electing summary trial.Two of the coats, stolen from a room in the Cecil Hotel, Nov. fi, ha\e been recovered and io lice hope to pick up two more shortly.Crown Attorney F. O. Meighcn said it is believed the three obtained information the couts were in the room and “hatched” a plan in a beer parlor.Some of them went up to the room and got in through a transom. The coats were removed from a rack and thrown down the fire escape. A car pulled into the alley and the coats were picked up.
