AUSTIN, Nov. 25.—UP)—A_re quest that Texas turn Wayne Nel son Young over to Colorado author ities for questioning in connection with the slaying of Walter Joe Parsons has been received by Gov. Allan Shivers, Shivers’ office reported today: that a protest against extradition has been filed by L. W. Schlesin ger of San Antonio, attorney for Young. The Governor designated Secre tary of State Ben Ramsey to hold the extradition hearing, time of which has not been set. Meanwhile, a habeas corpus hearing was scheduled today in New Braunfels. It was understood that Young, who has been free on bond since Sunday, would attack, validity of the warrant for his ar rest. Parsons was slain last January. His body was found near the Garden of the Gods located near Colorado Springs, Colo.
