In his verdict, after describing the wound, the Coroner says:“The decedent was a large, strong, muscular man and waa eyidently un-der the influence of liqupr, He had used abusive language to Mr. Pickett and had folio wed him through and around two sides of the barn with an open knife in his hand and as Mr. Pickett attempted to enter the door into his cow barn to get back in companywith the; two parties who were in thebarn, the decedent jumped between him and the door with the knife raised to strike.
