Iiv- reports that groat excitement has prevailed during the oust week in the j neighborhood of Wnverly and along the line of Lee and Tallapoosa counties.Ten negroa were recently arrested in the neighborhood of Wnverly, elmrgcd with a conspiracy , to murder Mv. G ins, an old and respected citizen living near Waverly The prisoners were tried Friday and yesterday and all b it two were acquitted and disc urged. Anthony Williamson | and Currie Trammell were held on bond, Anthony ; to the amount of'$1000 and Carrie to the amount of $500. Mr. Bartow Smith, who runs theconvtct farm in Tallapoosa county, made bond for them and put them lt;o work on his farm.
