Fort Worth Chief of Detectives Clay Bishop, in Pallas on other business at the time Fort Worth Night Chib Operator Nelson Harris and his wife were killed in a bomb explosion today, said there was no connection between Harris and Noble.It was on Nov. 29. 1949. that Mrs. Noble was killed in front of her home by a planted bomb in a car which her husband usually used.Noble, however, had taken another car that day and his wife fell -victim of the attempted assassination.Detective Bishop said that there was *'a man named Harris onceassociated with Noble but that the Nelson Harris killed today was not the man.Noble has been the target of several ambush attempts, once occurring while he was under treatment in Methodist Hospital here for wounds suffered in an earlier attempt on his life.His assailant at that time missed i his mark with a rifle fired from ■ several hundred feet aw*ay through his hospital room window.NoM« has asserted repeatedly (that the attempts on his life were | being made by gunmen hired by a ! former Pallas gambler now operating in Nevada
