Jury Convicts Arnold ElswickA verdict of voluntary manslaughter was returned by an intermediate court jury last nrght against Arnold L, Elswick, 38, of LI tile Sandy, charged with- the shotgun, slayltig of Clarence E. Pauley, 27, a neighbor, last May 29. The jury had deliberated about three hours. The statute in such eases requires a sentence of from one to five years. -The .slaying, according to the Lestiworiy.' was the result of Pauley's attentions to Els wick's wife, who had left: Elswick, bus had later agreed to go back to keep house for him.
