Convicted of Larceny-Muskegon, Mfch., Nov. 22.—The trial of Mrs. Mattie Whiteside, charged wtth larceny from the person, was concluded last evening. The jury brought a verdict of guilty after an hour’s deliberation* Mrs. Whiteside’s husband Is a well-known man of Duluth, Minn. The woman, in company wtth four companions, stole a purse containing $I2u from fsaac F. Huntoon on Now 2, while the party was drinking in a saloon here. Huntoon is the treasurer of Cedar Creek township, and is 74 years of age.
