Minneapolis Girl Tells Police She Is Evelyn HartleyMINNEAPOLIS UK—A semi-hysterical girl who first claimed she was Evelyn Hartley, missing 15-year-old baby sitter from La Crosse, Wis.. early todov was identified as a Minneapolis juvenile.Detective 0. H. Cronstrom said definitely the girl was not Evelyn i Hartley. No reason was given for i her assuming rhe name of the Wisconsin girl, who disappeared on Oct, 24. .j Three youths found the girl in ; a drizzling rain on a residential street. She hailed them saying, “I need help.’’Police Sgt. L. C. Knudtson at the precinct where the girl was taken said the girl answered de-' scriptions of the missing baby sitter. He said she told him she was Evelyn Hartley and was from Wisconsin,Police said later the 14 year-old acknowledged she had been drinking. She was being held in matrons quarters for further ques-1 tiofiing. The girl supplied police 'with the name of her parents in ! Minneapolis.
