DIDN’T RUN AMUCKLeaves Moorings and Goes Ona Jaunt By ItselfAn incident such as is rarely seen except in the moving picture comedies occurred Saturday morning when the heavy sedan belonging to Constable John Shadowen ran amuck on the streets and al-21leys without the rime or reason.Officer Shadowen had driven to town preparatory to making a trip to Lebanon where Eddie was scheduled to make his last appearance on the McKendree gridiron. He left the car standing in the alley facing east while he went in the garage to make some purchases.1111Suddenly and for no good apparent reason the sedan started off down the alley at a rate of speed neither reasonable nor proper and with utter disregard for the traffic and the use of the way.It held to its course pretty well until it had crossed Maple street, j (when it took a side swipe at the Radison photograph studio.
