WHITE MAN KILLED BY NEGROQuarrel Over a Cow Leads to Terrible Tragedy at Holdenvilte.HoldenvMle, Okla., Nov, 20.—J. A,. Redman, a prominent farmer living five miles east of here was murdered by John Bruner, a Creek negro Friday afternoon.it appears that the negro had missed a cow and accused Redman of killing it. This was denied by Redman and his statement was verified by bystanders. A quarrel followed and the negro shot h*m dead. When the news reached this town feeling ran high and there are open threats of *a lynching. The negro took to the wooks, but a strong posse is in pursuit.Redman leaves a wife and several children.
