COURT DEFERS FOUR SENTENCESStatements in Five Gam* .Ming Cases HeardJudge Carl A. Weinman of com* mon pleas court, this morning heard statement* of counsel in the matter of five gambling informations filed against four men last week by Prosecutor Hugo Alexander. The court said he will pass sentence in the cases one week from Saturday.Tony Buff one, William Petrakis, Raymond Sperdutti and Joseph Te-gano last week pleaded guilty to charge of exhibiting gambling devices for gain. This morning Te-gano pleaded guilty to a second gambling charge. All four defendants were in court. Prosecutor Alexander made statements concerning their arrests which followed raids made on their places of business, headed by the prosecutor and Sheriff Robert D. Bates the night of November 9.Buffone was represented in court today by Attorney James S. Kimble. Petrakis, proprietor of the notorious “Twenty Grand, Water street night spot, was represented by Attorney A. G. Leonard. Attorney Dominic Renda represented Sperdutti.
