Cox. arrested Saturday by the police on the charge of violating the prohibition law, was* discharged j for the want of evidence.Deputy sheriffs, according to their report yesterday arrested Clarence Evans, a negro, on the charge of violating the prohibition law. Evans was docketed at the county jail and released on $100 bond signed by John T. and Daniel McNamara.
