The remains were taken late this afternoon 10 the home of the dead man’s daughter, Mrs. John Pitzer, near Alto, where he funeral will take pla o Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. As yet no word has been received from the Minnesota authorities giving the result of the coroner’s investigation in the case. A letter from the coroner is expected within a day or two. a telegram having been receive! stating that full written details of the inquiry would be forwarded at once.From what has been heard from the town of Bemidji. the place wherethe inquiry was held, Sexton’s acquaintances here have formed the opinion that he was killed in an encounter with some man with whomhe had had a controversy. That he%was not slain for his money or other property is established by the fact that his money was found on his person and not one article had been taken from his cabin. What could have caused a quarrel between himand any other man out in that wild country is diffieuP to conjecture. 11 is cabin was many miles from the nearest human habitation and he never had any callers save the rough and dissolute men of the woods. It is probable that it was one of these, some fellow who was maddened with liquor and hunting trouble, who went to the old man’s cabin, provoked him into a quarrel and then killed him.
