Judge Webster's court was called Sunday to try Walter Goss on a charge of kidnapping preferred by Ben Capliugcr, and the kidnapped was Maud, the wife : of Bon. But as Maud Bwore it was she ! who stole Goss away from the fireside of bis father and the folds of bis mother’s garment, and paid oil expenses out of her own bard earnings, there could be no charge against Walter.
