Frankenberry Is Sought After Stabbing AffrayMrs. Katherine L. Franken-berry, 43, formerly of Muscatine, ; was reported recovering at a Ft. Madison hospital today from; knife wounds allegedly inflicted | by Edgar Glenn Frankt nberiv. her divorced husband, on Nov. 7.Mrs. Frankenberry has been at ^ ’h j Ft. Madison hospital since the ! attack but Wednesday was re-ported improved although still I weak from loss of blood. !A warrant charging assault with intent to murder was issued j in justice court at Ft. Madison' acainst Frankenberry but no trace of the man has been found, jMis. Frankenberry was attack-line* 1032 Avenue (J.,' at Ft. Madison. She had obtained a divorce from her husband I early in November after having I been separated from him since May of 1941.Police at Ft. Madison said they were informed that Franken-berry, who had been away for i about a year, appealed at his ! former wife’s home and attacked her with a knife. The couple's I three daughters, ranging in age from 8 to 12 years, were ill the house at the time. They ran | screaming to the home of a neighbor who called police.Frank Doty, 47, who was at the Frankenberry homo, was also || wounded, suffering cuts to his i face md a £tab wound in the j shoulder.The oldest of thn three daughters said that Dotv walked into , the house while “papa and mama were fighting.’’
