Marshall, the only defendant among 20 persona brought to trial in 98th District Court this week who pleaded innocent, was given a five year suspended sentence Wednesday on a burglary charge.The jury returned the verdict as the only case they heard in the criminal week in tJie court.All the other defendants pleaded guilty on Tuesday and Wednesday.Those pleading guilty Wednesday and their sentences were:William Arthur Davis received a five-year suspended sentence for burglary, and Millard Goolsby received the same sentence for a similar charge.Solomon Isaac guilty to a burglary charge and was given three years in the state penitentiary.Chester Hamby was given a five- p year suspended sentence on a theft it charge. wThese cases completed the crim- ainal docket for the week in 98th ^ District Court.
