LUCY HICKS “NOT GUILTY”Failure of the prosecution to prove more than one “act” resulted in “not guilty” verdicts by Judge Frank B. Pettis in the trial this afternoon of William T. Speed, his wife Eftie Speed, and Lucy Hicks on charges of prostitution, vagrancy and keeping a house of prostitution.
