At the Superior Court in Mecklenburg county, last week, John Medlin was convicted of murder. The Democrat says:On Friday John Medlin, from Union county, was tried for killing liosea Little. Medlin was a deserter, and Little and others were trying to arrest him, when Medlin tired and killed Little. The jury returned a verdict, guilty of murder. Counsel for the [i prisoner, A. B.
