2 Medina County Gazette— Medina, O., Wed., Nov. 15, 78Spencer police chief to resign soonSPENCER-Village Police Chief Larry Schuck has resigned, effective Nov. 27, to rejoin the Medina County Sheriff’s Department.For Schuck, it is his secondresignation from the department and the second time he has joined the Sheriff’s Department. He will assume the position of sergeant.His first resignation came in May 1977, after serving since Dec.1975 as chief. He returned as chief in July, 1977 after his replacement resigned.In the sheriff’s department,Schuck will be joining his brother, Melvin, who had preceded him as Spencer Police Chief.A graduate of Black River High School and the Lorain County Community College Police School, Schuck served as a part-time patrolman on the Spencer force for 18 months prior to his appointment as chief in 1975.Police wornSpencer residentsof flasherSPENCER — A warning about a flasher has been issued to all area parents by Village Police Chief Larry Schuck.Schuck said a man has accosted four girls in separate incidents in the village Tuesday between 5-6 p.m.The suspect is described as between 25-30 years of age with straight black hair and driving a red Mustang II. The police chief said the man accosted the minors after asking for directions.None of the girls obtained the suspect’s license plate number.Schuck advises all parents to instruct their children not to approach the car of a stranger and if accosted to obtain immediate sanctuary and call police.
