LAPORTE TRUCK DRIVER MISS-INGAuthorities are searching for Russell Lawrence, age twenty-eight, a world war veteran of LaPorte, who has disappeared. A truck which Lawrence had been driving was found two miles east of this city. It showed many bullet holes. A quantity of merchandise belonging to Lawrence was found near North Judson, and a number of checks given by Knox and North Judson customers were found near the truck. Foul play is suspected.—IndianapolisNews, Nov. 13, 1923.Mr. Lawrence was. known by a number of people here as the driver of the Jewel Tea wagon, and made trips here every few weeks.
