I he Wykljfies to .Surrender.Tahlequah, I. T., Nqv. 12 — There will be a great statehood celebration in this, the capitol of the Cherokee Nation, on the 16th of November, and one of the dramatic features of the day will be the surrender of the Wyk-liffe boys who are wanted for the murder of Deputy United States Marshal Ike Giistrap on the morning of the 11th of March, 1906, in the Spavinawhills. The Wykliffe boys have been scouting ever since the shooting of Giistrap, but the officers have never been very near their hiding places. The three boys, Tom, Charley and Jim, claim that under statehood they can have a fair trial. They also claim that they can prove that there were many reasons why any one of them would have been justified in the shooting ofthe United States Marsha!.The bond for the three outlaws is ail arranged for and they will be liberated as soon as they put in their appearance. It is said that they will not even go to jail, but will spend the day among their friends, who are numerous in and around Tahle-auah. — Times-Democrat.
