Bertsch, scheduled to die Nov. 17 for the 1962 shotgurr slaying of his daughter, got a three months stay of execution.The new execution date is Feb. 17.The stay was asked by Dist. jAtty. Wallace T. Barber, Fay-|ette County, to allow time forfurther appeals in the TexasCourt of Criminal Appeals and| the U.S. Supreme Court.
