Seventh St . accused of armed robbery,was continued until 8:45 a.m. Friday so he can consult with his court - appoint ed attorney. Sterlelske was remanded to the county jail when unable to furnish bail set at $10,000 by Judge Harold \V. Mueller Dawn Marie Konecnv, 1228 N. 18th St . accused of aiding and abetting in armed robbery, demanded a preliminary hearing, scheduled for 1*30 p.m. Nov iy by Judge Mueller.Bail in the amount of $5,000 was furnished by surety bond According to the complaint in Sterletske’s case, the robbery occurred about 1.38 a.m when a man entered the hotel through the west door, pointed a sawed off shotgun at Kurt Pozorski. an employe of the hotel, and demanded money.Pozorski was ordered to remove all the money from the potty cash drawer and place all the money inside a money bag. He then was also ordered to sit on the floor and wait three minutes before moving Approximately $1,000 m cashwas taken in the holdup In another development m the robbery case. Captain of Detectives Robert Schmidt of the Manitowoc Police Dept said Wednesday morning that an 18 year old man Irwn FrancisCreek, and a 24 vear old man•from Manitowoc are in custodv m the Manitowoc County jail, having been picked up at Waukesha when law enforcement officers there became suspicious of their actions in thatcity. Monday nightSchmidt said a conference was planned with Dist Atty. Tom Rusboldt later Wednesday moving to decide whether or not charges will be filed against the two men. He said the men aroused suspicion by cashing dollar bills for larger denominations.The two men. acquaintances of Sterletske and Miss Konecnv.were picked up at Waukesha County jail by Manitowoc Det David Egan and Manitowoc County Jailer John Felber. Their two women companions werereleased.Schmidt said SI50 of the stolen money has been recovered, but that the search for the sawed off shotgun used in the robbery continues.Also in Branch 2, Rick E. Eberhart, 19, of Oshkosh, charged with aiding and abetting in the May 21 armed robbery of the Plantico Drug Co. store, 1523 Washington St.. Two Rivers, demanded a preliminary hearing scheduled for 9am Nov 28.Bad was set at $10,000 in the case. Eberhart is, however, currently serving a sentence at the State Reformatory. Eberhart was identified in a lineup July 5 at the Winnebago County jail He allegedly was one of two men who entered the Plantico store about 3.45 p.m.. one of whom was armed with a long-barrelled revolver. The other, allegedly Eberhart. ordered Reuben Plantico. store owner, to empty two drawers of hard drugs into a large shopping bag.
