Littlepage’s Conpespio.w—Liltlepage, the Ilcnrico-county forger, has at last found out that it is useless for him to continue his assumed loss of speech. On Saturday a State officer saw him at the county jail, had a long talk with him, and advised him to own up that he had been “ putting on,” and when he went out to the penitentiary to behave himself, be a good prisoner, do his duty, and thus entitle himself to the usual shortening of the term. Litllepage then confessed that he had not lost his speech, conversed freely, and said he would take the advice given him. He had a hearty cry about his wife and children, and seemed to be much impressed by the error of his way. The deduction made for good conduct is forty-eight days a year. Liltlcpage’s term is for two years..
