SuspectHeld InShootingPolice are holding a 37-year-old North Diamond St. man for investigation in the Saturday night shooting of Avery Dailey, 26, of 1092 Herring Ave-Dailey entered the Gay Ninety’s Cafe. 39 East Sixth Sc, at 10:45 p. m. Saturday, and told a patron he had been shot. When police arrived, Dailey was found on the floor of the cafe with* a shotgun wound on the right temple.He was taken to General Hospi-ital where he is reported in good condition today.He told police he had been shot while trying to enter his car which was paiked in a lot on North Diamond St.At 12:23 a. xn. Sunday, police arrested Carl Sergent, 269 North Diamond St., on a warrant of assault and battery, after breaking down the door when the man refused to let them enter.
