Sues for Unused License.Mrs. Charles Knight of Duquoin lias sued the city of Ashley for $250, claiming that amount is due her on unused saloon license issued to her husband. Charles Knight. The latter conducted a saloon in Ashley, which was destroyed by fire, and when he failed to secure another location he asked the city council to refund the sum due 011 the license for the remainder of the year, which requestwas refused. Later Knight fatally wounded a brother in a fight at T)u-ouoin. After the latter died Charles Knight became insane and is now confined in the Anna hospital for the insane.
