After secnring it, he tried to sell it, bnl failing, pulled out with Will Wood, another thief, ostensibly for Florida at lease he gave it out as such. Before' Cottom* 9 arri val here he had lust served a term in the work house at Cincinnati for the stealing of a watch and some tnoney from Dude Mount, formerly of this city.
