UP)—A Dermott father whose two sonsare now in the army took a pot shot at an American Japanesesoldier in a Dermott cafe today and landed himself In jail.City Marshal Thad Hawkins,who arrested the civilian, said thesoldier. Pvt, Louis Furushiro, 22, of Camp Robinson, Ark., was unin-d. The soldier had stopped atjureth* cafe to eat, en route to thenearby Japanese relocation colony of Jerome to visit friends.“Somebody told this fellow therewas a Jap in the cafe,” Hawkins said. “He went home, got his shot-(run,1 came back to the cafe andsaid “yes”opened the door. He asked the soldier if he was a Jap. The soldierand this guy fired.
