He kept up the search and Tuesday morning got a clue that the men had started east on the Northwestern track. Securing a team and accompanied by George Waltz, Hatton started up the road toward Glidden. About one mile west of Glidden Hatton got Bight of his men. As he came opposite the men, who were on the railroad track, li^tton covered them with his gun and called to them to surrender. They apparently yielded. Hatton left his rig and went toward them, ordering them to come to the rig. which they did. As they neared the rig, Hatton turned his attention for an instant to the team.
