Several criminal actions were disposed of during the morning. Kdd Williams, a negro, charged with wounding Sandy Casey, also colored, with a pistol, was given, a year in jail. Charlie Williams, another negro held in connection w.'th the shooting, was given a year's suspended sentence and charges against Riley Williams were dismissed.Kisie Calloway charged withstabbing Walter Perry, both colored, was given a six months suspended semqnee on a plea of guilty; Corbett Hitter, charged with driving drunk was fined $100 and sentenced to 60-days in jail by a jury; John Jenkins, colored, charged w.Hh driving drunk, was fired $100 and given a 60-day suspended sentence on plea of guilty.True bills returned by the grand jury included: Hampton Stillwell, Remine Tolliver and Bert Roberts, charged jointly with perjury in connection with the Cephas Hall ABC misdemeanor case during the last term of court; Cephas Hall, retrial on .ABC misdemeanor charge; Thelma French, colored, involuntary manslaughter; Bill Tolbert, Howard Sams, Rill Sams, Hugh Lowe and Willliam.
