He died of hemorrhage on the brain, the result of a f'*11. It is impossible for me to say that he was drunk. If so that might havo accelerated death, because a drunken man’s blood-vessels and brain are full of blood. But this accident might have happened to a sober man. He had drank something, but for any smell you could percoivo he might only have had a glass of ale. I could not detect what he had taken by the smell.Mr. G. Laity Donald Me. Carthy never drank anything in his life and he was thrown from my horse within 10 yards of that place and killed on the spot.Mr. Mudge:— In all probability if you opened Mr. Fenimens’s head you would find a clot of blood all over the brain. Drink may produce hemorrhage of the brain, but in that caso it is generally internal hemorrhage.
