At the election of 1858 the Republican rote was 487 to 5S3 Dcmocatic. This 16 a handsome gain after a desperate contest The County of Mad* Uon is also redeemed—giving 200 Republican majority. Judge Trumbull now lives in a Republican city, connty and State.
