29 Sign Petition Asking Parole for C. A. BeckA petition with 29 signers has been filed with Circuit Clerk Floyd Pope, calling for a parole for Clifford Albert Beck of Guilford.Beck is now in the county jail awaiting arraignment on a charge of breaking in Elvin Davidson’s Conoco station in Guilford Oct. 9. and stealing $11. He nas not yet pleaded either guilty or not guilty to the charge.The petition states: “We the undersigned. residents of Guiitord and vicinity, respectfully request you to extend to Beck every consideration possible and we respectfully request and hereby petition you to grant him a parole ircmany sentence that may be imposedon h«m.
