Famous Psychic to Work on CaseAnchorage Girl and Boysure it wasn’t a voluntary walkaway. Someone did comeBy Karma KrelieWithin the next couple of weeks, Psychic Dorothy Allison of Nutley, N.J., will be arriving in Alaska to apply her talents in the search for two children missing from the Sterling area of the Kenai Peninsula.Three years ago, 13-year-old Scott Fandel anti his 8-year-old sister Amy disappeared from their remote home on the Kenai Peninsula. Their mother had left them alone long enough to run into town where she met some friends at a tavern, and when she returned home at 2 a.m., the children were gone.A complete search of thearea using bloodhounds and volunteers failed to produce a single clue. However, a local resident reported seeing a car speeding from the area the night the children vanished.Trooper John Tangey said of the investigation, “We areWhether they used a phony approach to lure the children out of the house or whether it was someone they knew and trusted we don’t know. Anything is possible.”Tangey expressed concern that the abduction may have been the work of a psychotic individual. ’’Looks like that is the direction this thing is going in,”Tangey said.Now, three years later, there is still no trace of the children. There are no leads, no suspects.Meanwhile, Dorothy ABiaon, renowned psychic who has worked on such cases as the Patty Hears! disappearance and the Atlanta children’s murders, has been having visions possiblyrelated to the disappearance of the Fandel children.Her visions have included mostly landmarks which shebelieves may be helpful inlocating the missing children.She says, “Tise children may be found by a lake bearing the name of a shiny or transparent substance. . .silver, she suggests. She sees a hospital or some kind of institution like an orphanage nearby. She sees a tavern which was once closed down because of some kind of violation. She sees a sporting goods store and a place where wood or second hand furniture and copper are kept She has also seen a place where a police man was involved in some kind of accident between January and March of 1973 and a place where there used to be a police station or outpost at one time.The numbers 56 or 65 are also important. They may represent a date, 5-6 (May 6) or 6-5 (June 5), or be partof an address or a license plate.-Continued on page 11
