This week Swan River is welcoming Its first war bride in the person of r Mrs Gordon McDonald who arrived from Overseas last Wednesday night 1 and is making her home with her husband's parents here.Mrs McDonald was formerly M*ss Kathleen Denmark, of Southport, Lancs, England, and was married to ' Gordon McDonald while the latter was stationed neaf there with the R.C.A.F Tiie wedding took place at her home on April 4th, 1942Gordon McDonald is now back instation at Virden.Swan River welcomes Mrs, McDonald to her hew- home and hopes that her married life here may be long and happy. *training as a pilot.
