Narcot;c Arrests Mount23 Caught In RaidsBy GEORGE DORSEYStaff WriterA simultaneous raid at five locations in Frederick by 44 policemen early Monday morning resulted in 23 arrests for alleged narcotics violations and a quantity of suspected heroin and marijuana seized by police* Bonds on all 23 persons arrested ranged from $1,000 to $45,000, and totaled nearlya quarter of a million dollars($242,500).The synchronized raid, the largest in the county's history, started at 7 a.m* when mobile units comprised of state and city Policemen, arrived at three apartments, one residence and a local business establishment* Police using search andseizure warrants entered the Soul Brothers Lounge, 106 S. Market St.; Apartment No. 1 at 106 1/2 S. Market St., the residence of Clarence Duckett; Apartment No. 2, 106 1/2 S. Market St, the residence of Robert Thomas; A-partment No. 2, 83 S.
