TeenagerMissingFrom HomeA 17-year-old Corbin High School student, Kim Wages, son of Jasper and Betty Wages of Oak Ridge Church Road, has been reported missing by his mother who last saw him Monday morning as he was leaving for school.Mrs. Wages said her son left for school Monday morning driving a 1973 yellow Vega with a black stripe and license number FNL - 038, Knox County.He was wearing blue jeans, and a white thermal underwearshirt and had in his car a bluejacket with Cumberland College written on it.He is six feet one inch tall, weighes 155 pounds, has straight blond hair and hazel eyes.Mrs. Wages said Vernon Wilder Jr., assistant principal at Corbin High School, told her that Kim went to school Monday morning. Officials at the Corbin Area Vocational School told Mrs. Wages that her son did not attend classes there Monday afternoon.Mrs. Wages said she contacted the high school Tuesday morning after her son did not come home Monday night and they told her that he did notcome to school at all Monday.Wages oniy had two or three dollars in his possession and had always wanted to live in Florida, Mrs. Wages said, although she added that she fears something might have happened to him because he isn’t the type to worry his parents.The Wages’ have contacted the Corbin and Williamsburg Police Department as well as the State Police posts in Harlan and London.Mrs. Wages said she had talked with her son's friends and none has seen him.
