Mrs. Harry n; Lansing, entertained in her honor at the McGee homestead in north Klamaxoo avenue. This was inthe nature of ra IlAliowe’etf party and no more ideal place for an affair of tlie ' kind could be Imagined. The quaint log cabin 'which-1ms been an attractive feature of the grounds for many years was the scene of a portion of the festivities and leading to it eomstnlfcs and Japanese lanterns were effectively used. There was'a marshmallow roast and later a lunch was served at the house where the rooms were prettily adorned with uu-tuinn leaves and chrysanthemums.
