May 23.—At the Union Station, yesterday, Frank Schubert, of La Crosse, Wis., was robbed of *115 in cash and his railroad ticket to New York. Mr. Schubert was abont entering a car of the day express east, and was en route to New York, whence he sails for a visit to Austria, his native land. The train was about to pull out when Mr. Schubert entered the car and found the passageway blocked by four men. In order to get p;ist Mr. Schubert held his hand-bag above his head, and this gave the robbers-the opportunity they desired, for it is believed the quartette followed him all the way from Chicago.
