• Matthew J. Sowle, 11, 436 Hudson Road, Osseo, was treated for injuries sustained in an accident and released from Hillsdale Community Health Center Saturday. Sowle was riding a bicycle near the intersection of Lake Pleasant Road and M-34 when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Mary Ellen Street, 18, 358 Hudson Road, deputies said. The accident occurred when a vehicle driven by William F. Palmer, 17, 254 Union St. Hillsdale, crossed M-34 and was struck by Ms. Street’s vehicle; then Palmer’s vehicle struck a stopped vehicle driven by Andrea Kohli, 36. Oak Harbor, Ohio; Ms. Street’s vehicle then slid around and hit the bicyclist. Palmer sustained possible injuries and sought treatment. Although Palmer was found at fault for allegedly failing to yield, he was not ticketed.
