MARY HOEFER Hunt droppedYOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK (UPP—Park rangers have discontinued the search for 19-year-old Mary Hoefer, daughter of John H. Hoefer of Belvedere, advertising executive, who has been missing for a week.Park authorities said Friday that although the manned search in the mountains had been discontinued, rangers would continue to check out any leads in the disappearance ofthe girl.The attractive blonde had been working at the Yosemite Lodge for the past two weeks during a semester break from her studies at the University of California at Berkeley.She was last seen Saturday evening talking to a young man in the lodge parking lot.
