LETTER TO THE EDITORHi Morry:Yep — made the big shift again and returned to the Thunder bird yesterday as director of publicity and advertising. ‘ ffijWI QActually, I’m a newspaperman. Love the crazy business but I clashed few times with couple otfws people at the Sun so finally decided to bow out of the scene. T-Bird offered me a good deal and after few weeks of hard thinking, accepted the job.Sure is different from when Joe Wells had the place. Have to start all over again since filing system and so many things are ancient here. But once I get my feet wet again, am sure it will be fine.Have many friends in Henson so you might toss in a line saying I ended a 22-year newspaper career, resigned as managing editor of the Sun and am now director of publicity and advertising for the Thunderbird Hotel. Had this same position first year with Joe Wells then elevated to position of administrative director year later. Continued in this capacity until the Del E. Webb firm bought the T-birdin October, 1954 and I returned to the Sun as managing editor.Hoping to work with you Mom* in the future. Drop inand we can have lunch orsomething.Vince Ansel moCourtship is that period in which a girl wraps a man around her little finger preparatory to putting him under her thumb.
