!i May Be Cleared Up by Confession of“Bad” Negro.Alexandria, Ind., A lay 28.—Ollie Dalton, a negro gun fighter, who has been a disturber of the peace here for some years, has made a confession to the authorities at Anderson, where he is in Jail, which is expected to throw light on several mysterious tragedies that have occurred in Alexandria.Dalton says he knows of the muiv derers of Policeman George W. Lee, who was shot by burglars three years ago, and also who killed a man named Wilson, who was found under a railroad bridge with his head crushed. Dayton says that his knowledge ofthese affairs and others explains bis immunity from punishment at the handa of some Alexandria officials, who, he alleges, know all about the murder of Lee.Dalton asserts that he was offered money, $800 at one time, to leave Alexandria. His charges involve a number of white and colored people.
